Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you sign up, we collect your email address and display name through Clerk, our authentication provider. When you use the app, we store your drill results including hands played, accuracy, and actions taken. This data powers your stats and weakness analysis.

We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data such as page views and feature interactions. PostHog is configured to identify only logged in users. Anonymous visitors are not tracked by identity.

We do not collect any information about real money gambling activity, poker room accounts, or financial transactions beyond your subscription payment data, which is handled entirely by Stripe.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to operate the app. We authenticate you, track your progress, generate weakness sessions, and improve the product through aggregated analytics. We do not sell your data to anyone.

3. Data Processors

We use these third party services to run the app. Each has a Data Processing Agreement in place.

  • Clerk for authentication and billing (clerk.com)
  • Neon for database hosting (neon.tech)
  • PostHog for product analytics (posthog.com)
  • Vercel for hosting (vercel.com)
  • Stripe for payment processing (stripe.com)

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication through Clerk and for session management. PostHog uses a cookie for analytics, but it is only set after you consent through the cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To request deletion or export of your data, email privacy@trainpoker.app. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data until you delete your account. When you request deletion, we remove your user record, drill sessions, hand results, and aggregated stats within 30 days. Payment information is retained by Stripe in accordance with their own retention policy.
